DALLAS, TX -- Today, as the early voting period began in Texas, Candace Valenzuela, the Democratic nominee for Congress in Texas’ 24th District, released the following statement:

“I encourage all North Texans to get out to the polls and vote early,” said Valenzuela. “Voting early is the best way to ensure your ballot is cast and counted. We have the momentum to win this race, but we need people to turnout and push us over the finish line.”

In a video message to North Texans, Valenzuela added, “Today is the first day of early voting! This is a historic election and we have the chance to make powerful and tangible change in our community. Make your voice heard. Vote!”
